New Years Is Not The Only Time For Resolutions

We're all familiar with the idea of New Year Resolutions. However, there is nothing and absolutely nothing that says that Resolutions have to be associated with New Year alone. New Year's; is about the fresh start and what attracts us about New Year Resolution is the fresh start of the cycle.

There are many other start of the cycles which come with same motivation. For example, at the beginning of a new week, the start of a new month, following a birthday, or after a holiday from work, people redouble their efforts to achieve their goals.

Anyway, by Jan. 8, some 25 percent of resolutions have fallen by the wayside according an article published in The New York Times called The Only Way to Keep Your Resolutions. So, it only makes sense that we maximise the opportunity in other fresh starts available to us versus just rely on New Year.

Here is a great video by The Wharton professor Katherine Milkman on how any fresh start effects creates a clean slate and it doesn't have to be New Years only.
